Par for Life 2017 was another huge success!!
This is our 13th Annual Event at a new golf course!
On Monday, June 18, 2018, we the members of Central Ohio Men Against Prostate Cancer (COMAPC) will hold our thirteenth annual Par for Life golf event at NorthStar Golf Club. We thank you for your support in past years and are asking for your continued support as a player, sponsor, and/or donor. That support will help us to expand our work in the Central Ohio community.
Prostate cancer is the most common malignancy found in American men. The good news is that while prostate cancer is common, it is highly treatable when caught early.
The American Cancer Society estimates that 161,360 men will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 2018. They also estimate that 26,730 men will die from prostate cancer in 2018, which equates to one man dying every 20 minutes from the disease.
For the past twelve years, COMAPC has funded prostate cancer screenings at the Columbus Cancer Clinic for uninsured and medically underserved men. Since 2012, we have donated to the Columbus Cancer Clinic’s Homecare Support Program to provide financial assistance for prostate cancer patients who are unable to pay for medical supplies, medication, transportation to and from cancer related appointments, and groceries. We will continue to do so in 2018.
COMAPC has partnered with the Marion County Public Health Department of Indianapolis, Indiana, to use their mobile unit to provide screening and education for health events in the Central Ohio Area. The mobile unit is staffed by medical personnel from local hospitals with educational information provided by COMAPC.
Additional funding for the partnership has been provided by the Randolph A. Jester Foundation of Powell, OH.
Our efforts to educate men and their families and pay for screenings are key contributors to the state of men’s health in Central Ohio.

Cost: $125/golfer or $500/Team (Includes Continental Breakfast, Green Fees, Cart, Range Balls, and Dinner)
Format: 4 Person Scramble
8:30 AM: Registration, Warm-up, &Continental Breakfast
10:00 AM – Shotgun Start

Plus: Each golfer will receive 1 Pass (Green Fees Only) for one
complimentary round of golf at NorthStar Golf Club
